Need a new AC Router

Looking to purchase a new AC router for brand new house.

We have 5 people there, multiple laptops, 2 desktops, and the usual assortment of tablets and smartphones.

I've been authorized to spend up to $350 CAN and was looking at a DLINK DIR-890 AC router..they seem to have good reviews.

I've also seen many ASUS AC routers that have great ratings, as well as various awards and such for higher end ones.

What are all you people using at home/office (we do run a home business here too!!)

Recommendations and advice is greatly appreciated as the current DLINK is dying.. and isnt even AC capable.

Slightly off topic, but do you have any additional business requirements for things like network segregation, VPN, traffic inspection, 802.1x, etc?

No, the business aspect is relatively basic, I more mentioned it so that any recommendations took into account that we need a solution that is a bit more robust than, perhaps, the typical home setup for 4-5 very active users. Thanks
