Need a New Desktop, any ideas?

Ehh...well, I've had an Intel P4 1.5GHz for the past 5-7 years, and I'm looking to get a New computer. And i want to build it. I'm hoping not to spend over $500-$600. I pretty much use my computer for Online Games, Offline Games, Music and movies, the internet, ETC. So any suggestions? I'm hoping for it to last atleast a few years. And being able to MultiTask alot of things would be nice. I don't need a monitor.


Also, whats a good mobo?

I don't really care on what brand anything is, such as Intel or AMD, I just want it to last awhile.
 
Well, you can't build a system for $500-600 that will last you awhile.
It is even hard to build a system that will last you awhile with like $1500.

You can build a fairly decent system in todays standards for $600, but it is already outdated. It's just the sad truth of technology.

I'll see what I can build for $600 though.
