Need a new Motherboard?

link the exact psu as some aren't recomendable and others are. also could probably link the ram too so we can see if there's any faster for similar price.

The memory will run much better in dual channel.

Don't use that Cooler Master Powr supply. Asking for trouble.
If you've already bought it, consider returning/selling it and get Seasonic/XFX/Silverstone/Antec/Corsiar/PC Power & Cooling.

The biggest difference is the PCIe slot layout. Both have a 8+2 power phase setup, but the UD5/7 have alittle better chokes and driver mosfets instead of driver IC and mosfet . But with a 8+2 setup, it really should not make much difference. Really if your not planing on running Crossfire or SLI the GA-970A-UD3 or even if you are the GA-990XA-UD3. Both have 8+2 setup and the same chokes as the UD3

He has an AM2+ CPU.
He has a 940 not 945.He wrote it wrong.
An AM2+ CPU won't work with the AM3+ board(If I am not wrong).
