Need a new motherboard

So I'm looking for a new motherboard. What I have now is a Gigabyte motherboard, a phenom II x6 1055T processor and DDR3 ram. What I want is a motherboard that supports my processor and DDR4 ram. Every thing that I look at supports Intel chipsets so what I am finding is next to nothing. Does anyone have any suggestions as to a motherboard that will work with what i want?

And the cheaper the better but I'm not being too picky

You aren't going to be using DDR4 with a 1055T. The memory controller only suppports DDR2/DDR3. As such, there are no AM3+ boards with DDR4 slots.

What's wrong with your current board?

There's bribing wrong with it, I'm just looking to upgrade without having to buy a new processor if I don't have to.

Why do you want to upgrade your motherboard? What's wrong with the one you have now?
I've had this one for a while and am just looking to upgrading my whole system to newer stuff. There is absolutely nothing wrong with my motherboard now.

You'll have to upgrade the CPU if you want a newer platform. The only platforms on the market right now that are DDR4 based are Z170 for Skylake and X99 for Haswell-E.

There is AMD Zen coming out shortly on the AM4 platform that will also be DDR4.

Then i will keep my eyes open for that

There is no point in upgrading the motherboard on your system if you plan to use the same CPU. You are already on an outdated platform, you should buy a new motherboard, CPU, and RAM together.

Updates of motherboards can provide additional feature eg. USB 3
Are you seriously suggesting it's a good idea for him to upgrade his motherboard that uses the 1055T platform? If he wants USB 3.0, just buy a PCI-E add-on card.
