need a new printer, especially one that is easy for printing envelopes

I am looking for a new printer. I have no preference whether it is color inkjet or monochromatic laser, although it would be nice to have color in some cases. My main concern is cost of replacement cartridges. I want a printer with cartridges that will last the longest and are not too outrageous to replace. Also, I need one that makes envelope printing very easy.
 
As far as I know Lexmark or Kodak claim to make the cheapest ink printers. I own the one of the lexmark printers they say is cheap. Instead of having a black and a color cartridge you have a black and 3 separate color cartridges so you only replace whatever color is out. I have the Pinnacle Pro 901 and just bought it back in november.

Its also wireless or you can use usb or ethernet to hook it up.
 
Thanks for your suggestion. I see that the Lexmark printers do have cheaper ink, but they don't seem to be reviewed very highly. I'm leaning towards HP since I've used them for years. I'm also open to Epson.
