Need a new processor

For around $100-$200 to help relieve the bottleneck my x1800xt is causing. I've heard that my mobo won't support duel core processors...is that true? Also, how hard is it to install a new cpu?

changing the processor is fairly straight forward, long as you get the retail box version it will come with a heatsink with thermal pad already on it.

simply power down, remove the previous cpu, seat the other one correctly and attatch heatsink and your off


googling your mobo and so far as i can tell it will accept up to a P4 3.6ghz...
