need a power supply for an old computer

hey guys, i need to fix an old hp computer from 2000 or so, and the psu is bad, sooooo. . . .

i need you guys to help me pick one out please :D

now heres what i do know about the computer and the mobo

the processor is a 1.4ghz AMD and the mobo has a 20 pin connector thing (not 24) and it does not have the 4 pin add on that come out around the same time as the p4.

It also has that really small 3-pin outlet, it looks like the one on the case fan so im guessing that just regulates the psu fan.

from doing a search i believe the power supply that fits this description is called an ATX-20 pin. . .

so yeah, just looking for something you guys think is worth buying
thanks for the help in advance :D

There are quite a few PSUs out there now that are 20+4 pin. They'll work fine. I have a bunch of them here. Just slide the extra four pin connector off and it will fit.

the pc does not have onboard gfx or onboard sound so it has those 2 cards, one agp one pci and it has either 256 or 512 mb of ram i think its 256 though and im gona put a wireless g pci adapter in there

its running win xp home ed

I would make sure that the old power supply was the normal size. Most HP computers back then had the smaller size.
