Need a PSU for this...

Mobo - Gigabyte ds3
Cpu - C2D E6600
GPU - Geforce 7900gs
Ram - Corsair XMS2 2x1gb
HD - 400Gb Western Digital - 7200 - 16mb
Cpu cooler - cooler master mars
Optical drive - Pioneer DVR-112 x2
PSU - ???
Case - Cooler master cavalier3

So thats my soon to be computer but just dont know what psu i need, didn't think makes varied much but from what i have read they do so any recommendations would be great. thanks in advance
 
Look at a Corsair unit, they're very well rated and built like rocks. Not bad prices too. It's the only PSU brand I recommend now, even though I'm on a JeanTech one...
 
Look for something around 500 watts with an efficiency rating of 85% under load. Otherwise look for something a little higher in wattage. Make sure there is adequate amperage on the 12V Rail. A dual 12V rail is a minimum I would recommend.

That corsair listed above is an excellent PSU.
 
yeh think i will go with the corsair 620w listed above as may upgrade in the future. thanks guys
