So I'm looking to sell my laptop, but not quite sure how much it would go for. Was wanting to know if you guys would help me out a bit. Specs are below:

- HP Pavilion DV6700SE
- 2.00GHz Intel Core 2 Duo T7200
- 4GB DDR2 800 G.Skill RAM
- nVidia GeForce 8400M GS
- DVD+/-RW Drive
- 120GB 5400RPM Western Digital HDD
- WiFi (obviously)
- Webcam
- Windows Vista Home Premium (Legit Copy)
- HDMI
- SD memory card slot
- Multimedia remote control

Overall it's in great condition. No scratches or scuffs.

Let me know how much you'd think it'd sell for. Thanks.

u need to tell us how much it was new. or is it stolen?
The reason I don't want to say how much I paid for it is because I don't want that to be a factor in deciding how much you guys think I could get for it. If that makes since.

But, it's really not a huge deal. I paid shy of $700 for it a year ago.

yep if you get 300 for it, go for it, it is indeed a good price for a laptop, laptops generally dont have great re-sale value

Oh wow. I was thinking I could get at least $500 for it. Maybe I was way off, but that sucks if it's only worth half of what I paid for it.

$500 is pushing it a little, but the specs are pretty decent so I see no reason why you can't get less than maybe $425.

I think you could get 500$. I just sold my 1 year old mac book with 1.8ghz dual core and 1gb of ram for 600$. I know macbooks are a lot more pricey but your specs are way better than mine. Its just a matter of finding the right buyer. I used craigslist. 1 year is really not that long for a used laptop. Check out ebay and look for a similar laptop.

its better you keep using it if it is not giving you great problems, coz all these gadgets dont really generate good money if you try selling it. btw, why dont you try selling it on ebay, you can get some decent price there

I ended up trading my laptop for a brand new ASUS 1005HA netbook and an old desktop PC with a monitor/keyboard/mouse.
