I have a 600W PSU and i did a power rating at http://extreme.outervision.com/PSUEngine and it came to 496W min load. I need a UPS to run this thing for enough time to safely shut it down. My computer is used a lot as a server as I have videos that people in my house (22 room fraternity) stream off it over our network. Our network system has a UPS and I Would like to get one for my computer because the power has gone out very much recently and I need a solution to protect it.
What size of UPS do I need? There are some nice 450W 700VA on newegg for about $90 which is about what I was expecting to spend. Do I need anything bigger than this?

Just out of curiosity do these UPS have a program to where it if it goes on battery supply it will automatically save everything on my computer and shutdown?
