Guys i'm really starting to hit some HIGH temps on my GPUs (81C) and I dont like that. So i'm going to go ahead and get a water cooling kit.

Something that's simple to work with. Thanks guys!

Some Spec you might need:

EVGA GeForce 6800GT 256MB PCI-E
Asus A8N-SLI Deluxe
AMD 3500+ 939

What driver revision are you using?

You can prolly find a simple kit out there for $100 or so (although i dont like them kits much) and then you just need some more tubing and a waterblock for the GPU :) ... say something like http://www.frozencpu.com/ex-blc-124.html

I'm using 71.84 but i've upgraded and it's still doing the same thing.

Would the driver make a diff? Which one should I be using?

Some drivers have built in protection for sensing temps but that doesnt really matter. Any small kit will do the job fine, just make sure you get the appropriate GPU water blocks and a few feet more of the tubing.

In the Tt Rocket that im going to get you get just over 6 meters of tubing (crazy) so if i ever wanted to cool my GPU aswell all i would have to buy is a GPU water block which is about £10

There were a few driver revisions that had a temperature bug (i.e., idle temp = idle temp +20ºC)

Erm .. (1) all drivers that support the device support whatever protection hardware is present (2) the thermal protection comes in the form of a buzzer :)
