Need advice on diagnosing possible hardware issue

Suddenly my PC will just shut down as if unplugged after 10 minutes of bootup. Ive rulled out temperature issues to the best of my knowledge. I get an occasional window on bootup that says one of my discs need to be checked for consistency. It seems to check out OK. Im guessing it might be a power supply issue.
Heres my build:http://speccy.piriform.com/results/IO5CuoFurVdaprfsCOcBnPN

I have a spare power suppply from an old build:

My current PS is a Cooler Master RC500PCARd3

Just curious if the spare is sufficient to power my current build and rule out a PS issue.
ANy suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks

This could be either a bad power supply or a bad hard drive. A bad hard drive can cause system to shut down. However, I would check the cpu temps to see if they are high. Are you able to turn the pc back on right after it shuts off?

Temps seem to be fine. I do occasionally get the "check disc for consistency" page and it checks out. No, sometim a I cannot immediately power back up. I have to turn off the PSU on the back and then back on to get PC to fire up from front button.

Replace your power supply first as that is not a good sign. I would not use the old power supply as its garbage.

Well, it seems to be the PSU. I had another build that had a decent PSU in it, a 400w Corsair. All seems to be good so far. Thanks for your help. Is this PSU sufficient enough for my build? Or should I go with a higher wattage PSU?

You are right close to being maxed out for that psu. When you can I would get a decent 500 watt unit. The EVGA 500 watt is pretty cheap and will suffice. I wouldn't push it until you get it replaced.
