Hey!
Just to let you know, i'm not greatly computer savvy. My computer is slowing me up with my work, and I need new one, so i've decided to go the route of building one, since I can build it to my needs. This'll be the first time for me, so I really just need some advice on the parts i've chosen.
I do a lot of 3D model work - 3Ds max, maya and Cinema4D, rendering times are getting ridiculous on this thing. Oh and I don't play games at all really. I'm not overly concerned about the price, don't want to go into the really high prices though.
Here they are -
CPU - Intel Core i7 2600k (chose this as I thought maybe it would be better suited for my needs - can also OC if needed)
MB - Asus P8P67 DELUXE R3 P67 Socket 1155 8 Channel HD Audio ATX Motherboard
RAM - G Skill 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 1333mhz Ripjaws Memory Kit CL9 (9-9-9-24) 1.5V
GPU - MSI GTX 560Ti TWIN FROZR II 1GB GDDR5 Dual DVI HDMI Out PCI-E
PSU - Corsair CMPSU-850HX 850 Watt
HD - Samsung SpinPoint F3 1TB SATA-II 32MB Cache - OEM (HD103SJ)
SSD - Intel 320 Series SSDSA2CW120G3K5 2.5" 120GB SATA II MLC
Case - Corsair Obsidian 650D Mid Tower Case
CD/DVD Drive - ASUS Black 24X DVD+R 8X DVD+RW 12X DVD+R DL
My main questions would be
- Are these components compatable with each other?
- Would it be better for me to get more RAM for my 3D rendering (I read that Graphics is very RAM hungry)
- Is 850watt too much for the PSU?
- Is the cooling going to be okay? Will I need a better case/an extra fan?
- Have I missed any parts out LOL apart from the usual perpherials.
Really appreciate any help!
Thanks
