need advice on graphics card upgrade

so i guess ill get both the MB and Video card cuz its under 200 after $80 in rebates.

i have a question about taking out the cpu from my existing MB, will it be easy? I bought like $11 heatsink compound so its not the shit they give u stock with the fan.

Well, I would say the stock fan is better than a $10 HSF! Don't know for sure though.

But, why are you getting the Foxconn instead of the Gigabyte? You're going to need to get new ram (PC6400) anyways...

well if you're going to need thermal paste because you have to remove the cooler, then the cpu, then you have to put the cpu into your new mobo, clean it off and reapply thermal paste, and then clean off the cpu cooler and put it back ontop. It shouldn't be too difficult

what should i clean the top of the cpu with

im pretty sure u can have ram that is slower than capable, 533mhz should work cuz this MB goes up to 800 mhz
