need advice on video card

i am building my first computer and i need help picking out the best possible video card for around $250. thanks alot for any help

although I have to say, you could spend 240$ on a 6950 and get this one with really good airflow,http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125385 I might even go with it myself with my build.

Well the 6950 2GB's are better cards, like I said, a little more expensive than their Nvidia counterparts, but worth it I think.
