if google was correct, 500 pounds is about 780 USD? It'll be kinda hard to really top that out by alot. Why do you want a new build anyways? why don't you just upgrade what you have? I mean that computer really isn't out of date.

I would like to build my own system maybe we could upgrade the limit to $1000 "bucks" witch is £572.

Why buy the same CPU twice? you already have it in your current system so 5 minutes work and youll save 190 pounds

The one im buying is better, but i do see were your comeing from...

I want to build a completely new system, so when im done and it works then i can sell my old system on Ebay and get my money back.

Can anybody see anything wrong with the setup.I updated the PSU to 500W btw.

One question, do pentium 4 duel core processors work in any motherboard or do you need a special motherboard.

Thanks.

your mobo supports: Intel Pentium 4 EE/Pentium 4 HT/Celeron D, so no, your motherboard will not support the Pentium D, u would have to get a new mobo that would...the description will say.

So what your saying is, the motherboard will support the 3.4GHz HT Technology Extreme Edition procesor and will not support dual core?

I spose thats fine, Can u see any problems with the list of the stuff im going to buy? Does it all fit, and is the best for money?

Cheers. :)
