Need advice, should I buy this PC?

I have someone local selling his gaming pc.
I am not knowledgeable anymore about computers, so any advice would be appreciated!

His price is $500
Specs:

Intel Core 2 Quad Q9450 Yorkfield 2.66GHz 12MB L2 Cache LGA 775

8 gigs of Corsair dominator ram.

250gig with the OS windows seven. A 300 and 500 gig for storage.

A xfx nvidia 780i motherboard

nvidia xfx 8800 GTS

*the case can either be a antec P183
or a cooler master stacker 830 evolution*

will come with a razer tarantula keyboard


I am in need of a new PC, but with school I'm too busy to have a friend build me one with my dwindled $700-800 budget.

Yea it's a great price!!! Go for it, you will be able to play alot of games with that graphic card. Even some of the new ones.
