Hi, I just have a quick question for the people in PC LAND. I am currently using VISTA and I want to install a clean windows 7 OEM to my pc. What happens if my motherboard fails within 1 month after installing windows 7? I have been reading that once your motherboard fails you must buy another copy of windows. I do not have money to throw away. Any info would be GREAT! Thanks!

Also I need some friends on this site so add me if you like... :)

If the motherboard goes out and you get the exact same thing for a replacement, you will have no issues. However, if you can't get the same motherboard, you will have to contact microsoft and tell them the motherboard crapped out on you and possibly will give you a code to reactivate it. It all depens on the person you talk to at Microsoft.

ive done twice so far. they gave me a new key.
From what i understand its motherboard and videocard change.
thats a trigger.

Thanks for the replys...So most likely it has to do with the motherboard and GPU...Thats good that you were able to get 2 keys from...You just had explain why you had to reactivate...
