Need advice

I am building a system soon for gaming with a budget of around $1200 and do not need a monitor and am not overclocking this system. I primarily play World of Warcraft. Does anyone know what sort of components I should be shooting for to build a computer to play this game with nice rez and no lag? Thanks.

I hadn't done much thinking in respect to what game i will be playing.
Any advice will be appreciated, thanks.

The one in your sig looks fine? I run WoW at 1650x1080 at 60 FPS with everything useful maxed and 4x antialiasing (8x makes it unplayable :( CSAA plx), and if I have to raid I just tone down the settings a bit if it gets laggy. You'll have no problem, though I think the 320gb barracuda got discontinued.

The only thing I would change is the motherboard, I think you would be better off with a x38 chipset instead of the p35. But otherwise it's a screaming system.

The x38 chipsets support some of the newest standards, while the p35 board might be bio's upgradeable, or might not be depending on which board you get.

P35 is fine for a budget builder, but the X38 is another great alternative if you wish for native 45nm support and PCI-E 2.0.

I heard the only real benefit of the X38 over the P35 is the additional PCIe slot and a few more USB ports. I do not plan on running two GPUs and would rather spend $100 on a nice mb than $200.

yea thats how i c it. I can either get a raptor or a more expensive motherboard, and since the motherboard won't really improve anything, raptor here i come.
