hello guys i have two options right now to buy new lenovo for 733 $ or SURFACE BOOK 2 , i5-7300u in second hand for 580 $ which one should i buy i am student and need it for studying purposes i am not gamer

The surface book is only a dual core/4 thread cpu while the ryzen is a 4 core 8 thread cpu.

Why only two options?

Do you do anything else like encoding? If not then any basic machine with a SSD and at least 8G of RAM would suit.

obviously i have other options too but i liked theese ones i do not do any encoding or staff like that im physics student and like to read and check different materials so i only need it for reading and maybe for films sometimes nothing more so in that price range what should i do should i get that lenovo or ? i want laptop with good battery thats it
