I think I have decided to go ahead and try to build my own gaming rig. I generally play WoW, Warhammer, and Sims 3 (with tons of custom content which my current PC can't handle).
I definitely want to go AMD to cut costs, but not sure which processor to choose. I'm looking at the 6-core. I would like to go with dual graphics cards, but confused how this works. Can I go with a lesser vid card and use two to get the same quality as if I were using a higher quality vid card?
I'm looking at 6-8gbs of RAM.
I would love suggestions on the power supply depending on what I would need.
I am confused about the motherboard as I don't know how to match up the compatibility.
I am looking to spend no more then $1200. I already have a monitor, keyboard and mouse.
Please build me an awesome gaming PC! I'm a complete noob! If I get stuck building on my own, I have a commuter shop that will put it together for $75. I'm looking forward to trying it on my own though! I need all recommendations soon because I'm ordering very soon! Thanks!
