Need cheap, reliable laptop

This will replace my failing 5-year-old desktop for general use (internet, youtube, writing papers), and will also be used for occasional recording. Recording will be via an external USB 2.0 interface. I don't do any gaming and am not a fan of Windows Vista and multiple programs running simultaneously in the background. I might try to use a linux distribution. Where is the best place to look for a laptop that will meet my needs?

I need:
2-3GHz reliable processor
4GB DDR2
250GB harddrive
Wireless network card
USB 2.0

Size, weight, appearance, and other features don't matter. It just needs to be reliable.

thats ddr3, not bad, just pointing it out, also its only 2.1ghz, not bad either though
