Need cheap replacement Motherboard/CPU

I think that my Motherboard or CPU or both have died on me :( Check thread: http://www.computerforum.com/202475-has-another-psu-fried.html

I am looking for a new Motherboard and CPU to replace these ones:

Intel Core i5 750 2.66GHz Socket LGA1156 8MB L3 Cache Retail Boxed Processor
MSI P55-CD53 P55 Socket 1156 Gigabit Lan 8 Channel Audio ATX Motherboard

I have looked and to replace these items it will cost me around £250.

Can anyone find me a cheaper replacement for these components. They must be as good or better performance, socket LGA1156, from somewhere in the UK and as cheap as possible!!

Do you have another processor? Also check the bottom side of the processor for burn marks, Most of the time when A processor goes out it will crack, at least in my experience.... Check the mobo for the same (burn Marks)... Also some of the caps of the diodes on the mobo may be bubbled out, instead of flat, that can also point to a bad mobo....
