Hey fellas,

here is my situation. i built my comp over two years ago and when i did i put in a GTX 285 vid card.. i just purchased BF3 and it recommended a better card. The game runs but gets hung up alot.. I thought of SLI another 285 but there are not cheap and the only one I found are used.. What is my best option. my mobo is a ASUS P6T deluxe VT

I would get a single 580. It will max out the game at ultra. It has more Vram, (not that you need more than 2GB) will run cooler, and BF3 has reported issues with SLI cards. But that problem should go away after an update. And in the future you can upgrade to two 580s.

Thanks and true about adding the second 580 down the road

what brand would one recommend? Since I have an asus board thought that would be the way to go?
