I successfully downloaded the DirectX9 driver, but when I load Team Fortress 2, it says my old driver is in use. Do I reboot my computer? Help please.

It should have made you reboot after install.

Ideally, you should have uninstalled your old drivers first, restarted, then reinstalled your new drivers, restart.

Yeah, I've established that. :( Just wondering, what would I need to upgrade, so I get the option of having a graphics card.?

My problem is money. My parents won't buy anything over 250, and seeing as upgrading this one is impossible, I have to settle with this one.

Then you cannot play high intensive games
And your other thread was just a waste of time ie 250 is not enough ;)

Have a nice day :)

As I see it, you have a couple of options.

One of these in your price range:

Or we can talk about getting some budget parts and basically build you a new computer using a couple of the parts from your current system.

That could be done for $250, but $300 would be more comfortable.

Basically, use your existing case, hard drive, and optical drive.

$266.94

AMD Sempron 140 Sargas 2.7GHz ($39.99)

Foxconn A74MX-K ($45.99)

G.SKILL 1GB DDR2 800 ($16.99)

EVGA GeForce 7200GS 512MB ($27.99)

Windows XP Home SP3 ($89.99)

XCLIO GOODPOWER 500W ($45.99)
