Need education on monitors

I have a 19 inch LCD from sceptre.

Here are the specs. Now I am building a new PC. I will be playing BF2 and I will be running it with a 7900GTX GPU. Is there anything I should be concerned about with this monitor. I bought it about 2 years ago because it was cheap. :o

Your going to be seeing some blurry action when playing, cause your monitors response time is above 8ms, the recommended would be between 4-2ms though for serious gaming.

So I should be looking at getting an lcd monitor with 4-2ms. I am actually thinking about getting 2 19" monitors.

Should I also be looking at the brightness or contrast ratio? SXGA vs WXGA?

What do I want as the maximum resolution? 1280 x 1024?

Should I use DVI or VGA? Sorry about all of the questions.......I dont know that much about monitors, and I would like to get several different opinions before buying something new.

I want to play BF2 on my single 7900gtx with two monitors without any visual problems, and I dont want any crappy lag either :o

8ms response time should be fine, and you're going to want to use DVI inputs on those monitors to get better performance out of them. I usually look at the contrast ratio first to get a better color resolution out of the monitor, and then usually most brightness settings should be fine. Most LCDs have a native resolution of 1280x1024, this also is perfectly fine for almost anything, unless you have the money to spend on something that is 1600x1200... :)
 
Somebody on a different website told me I should buy a 30" LCD because I wouldnt be getting the most out of my GPU. The way I see it though, 2 19" LCD's with a response on 4ms is fine with me.

Besides, a 30" LCD would cost a fortune!! :o
 
The higher the refresh rate the better. Anything under 8ms is good for gaming, if you get an 8ms there will be a slight bit of ghosting, but not to bad.
