Need Fan Controlling Program For Laptop Quick

hey all, there are about to be 4 people comming over to my house to play some unreal torunament 04 and cod2. we were short 1 pc, so i am using my mom's laptop. its decent, running an amd turion 64 1.8GHz, 1GB DDR400, and an ati mobility radeon 200M. Can i just fire it up and play some games for about 2 hours safely, or do i need to find a fan controller?? i have a fan controller for my video card (ati tray tools). is there a laptop fan controller out???
 
You laptop should cool itself, but I've seen lots of pretty crummy built in fan controllers :P

One of the best programs out there is Speedfan, but it seems less and less machines are compatable with it. Have you considered a laptop cooling pad?
