Need for Speed: Shift

Havn't seen anybody make a thread about it yet, it looks pretty cool. I think i'm going to go out and buy it sometime soon.

I just hope this NFS game is as good if not better than GRID because after Pro Street... I lost my faith in the NFS series

I was playing undercover for a bit, it got laggy because my system was running hot, I liked that game, quite a few options. I'm just worried that in shift it will be boring and you won't be able to do much more than set races.
 
I just picked up a copy of NFS Shift for pc. And to tell you the truth its nothing like the other nfs games. graphics are amazing. Reminds me of Gran Turismo, but you can tune cars a bit better in NFS Shift. Overall the best NFS game out. :)
 
Just played it on HD with the g25 racing wheel. It was good. It didn't really take advantage of the clutch pedal, you don't have to use it at all. I have to play Forza 3 before i can really judge it.

Mos def a lot better then NFS Pro Street. I only played that game for like 20 mins and then put down the controller.

I've been eyeing this game for a while. I looked for a Demo for my Xbox, but I'm glad the one for PC came out...and I upgraded my computer. There's just one problem though... IT MAKES ME SICK! No really... I have horrible motion sickness and this game causes me to get motion sick after playing for a few minutes :o
 
Guys, is this worth buying?
is there a demo i can download?
I heard that all radeon 3000 and 4000 cards get smooth fps, but then it dips way down for like 30 seconds and then shoots back up. 9.9 catalyst supposedly didn't fix this.

No no no, PC lol. If you could use the g25 on xbox, Forza 3 would be at the top of my list, but still behind assasins creed 2 lol.

Dont waste your money on the g25 though. Not until a game actually take advantage of the cluth pedal. You can switch gears while playing without even using it. For the price of the g25, i want the ability to stall, grind gears, etc. Just get a wheel with paddle shifting and be happy.

Thats b/c your still playing those arcade games. GTR2 and LFS both stall out if dont let off the clutch right.
 
It was a friends setup.

I might try the games you suggested once i get my computer up and running. Ever since they hit the 50/60 bucks a game, I haven't been into gaming as much as i use too.
