Need free software can erase SSD.

Hi,

Could anyone recommend a free program for erasing SSD, including OS?

My machine running Ubuntu.

When I need to completely clear a disk I either use EraseDisk in PartedMagic, or I use DBAN.

besides what was mentioned above i like killdisk or killdisc. a freeware is available for one military pass wipe. the pay ver is several times and over writing. For home works fine. For business the pay ver may be needed.

I used killdisk be4 for HDD, just not sure if there is any difference between SSD and HDD

Install WINE if it doesn't support .exe files, then run LowLevelHDD Format.
