Need GPU and Mobo Help! Fast!

I need help with motherboards and video cards. How can you tell if a mobo is good. What are specs do you want. Same question for a video card. How can i tell what is good and what is bad. Pleas help. I am a beginner.
 
What is it that your looking to know. It all depends on what you are wanting to know. There is broad area of information on both. Are you going to attempt a build or just interested?????

i am not an expert myself but when i look for mobo's i look for 2 pci-e slots x16, this is so you can run sli or crossfire, with maximum effect

as for graphics cards, this is a difficult 1, i suggest you try a few goggle searches. basically the newest cards are the gtx 2** series (nvidia) and hd 48** series from ATI, the argument of which 1 is better is endless, comes down to personal preference.

research, lots and lots of research, it depends on what you're going to be using it for, if its just internet browsing, something with a single pcie 2.0 slot and a few pci slots would be fine, if you want a gaming rig, you probably want something with two or more pcie 2.0 slots, wether you want sli or crossfire, if you're doing a server, probably having one or more pcix slots

3. what os do you have
4. what size is your monitor

once whe no these we can help u out
 
well if we know what u r building we can help on your decisions otherwise you just have to do lots of research, it all out there its just finding it
