about an hour ago, my laptop started acting up. I have a Sony VAIO VGN-NR260D with Windows XP: Home (SP3). At first it was rearly slow, then it was getting slower. I could be wrong but something tells me it has something to do with the new Utorrent that sucks. I had it for a week or so.
Anyway, when I started up my laptop a little while ago (which I did multiple times) So I first go into Safe Mode and clicked on Utorrent just to be sure, as soon as Utorrent started up, it froze. So I delete it (from the registry becuase it woundn't let me delete it from add/remove programs. I go back into my account (regular mode), but appearently, it restored the registry for Utorrent which I had deleted in Safe Mode. So after a couple a restarts, I finally get into the Registry and delete Utorrent fast enough. It was the fastish way to delete it. But as soon as it deleted it (it's set to auto turn on wwhen Windows startes) I see it pop up where the items are by the clock (forget what it's called).
Read carefully,
I take the HDD out of my laptop and hook it up to an external HDD case (it's SATA so it fits) and go and copy the files from it. I hook it up to this computer to copy the files over to this computer. But it won't let me into my Account folder. I get the folder "is not accessible" message, but every other folder works. I hook it up to my laptop again to remove the password make folders shareable. So there wouldn't be any problems but I hook it up to the external case again and still get the message.
So, the only thing to do is go in Safe Mode an copy all my files and move them to another HDD. I should have done earlier.
I can't get into Windows at all now. I press F8 and try every option but it shows the Windows loading screen for a second then goes back to the BIOS like it reboots.
I currently have it hook to the external case again but still am unable to excess my account folder; where my files are. I've just noticed that when I goto properties on my account folder, it says there is 0 space in that folder. Dunno if it was there before or not.
How do I fix this problem???!!!!!!
