need help asap thermaltake 650w

well.. i was told by many computer users and retailers that a thermaltake tough power 650w psu was able to run 2 Radeon HD 5770s (sapphire)

well just got them today from new-egg... installed both, and try to run 3dmark 06 and / or fur mark, and i get a blue screen, remove the second gpu and they run fine

is my power supply that crappy... the 12v rail seems to have enough amps ect

Have you configured Crossfire correctly?

Did you swap the cards to see if each of them works by itself?

The Thermaltake manual also states:
"For SLI and Crossfire, you have to use one PCI-Express connector
which comes out from the power supply unit, and one Modularized
PCI-Express connector for the best performance and stability."

That said, it only lists Radeon X series cards.

The Diamond spec sheet states:
"450 Watt or greater power supply with one 75W 6-pin PCI-Express power connector."

I cannot find a spec that states how many watts come out of the
6pin PCI-E connectors...

respond to psu prob

both cards run fantastic individually, i have not tried running with one molex adapter plug and one straight out of the power supply

if this is a possible fix i can try it, but i have been told that can damage parts as well. after advice i will try

let me know what i should try

EDIT:: i tried running them with 1 of the cards running off the molex adapter and 1 right of the PSU, no go, boots, goes to windows, and i can see it cross fired, but wen i try to adjust the fan, or boot a game/ benchmark i get a blue screen

once again both cards run fantastic by themselves and i ahve tried multiple PCI express slot configurations.

so.. how exacllty is crossfire configured correctly... i thought it was install, set the cable, make sure its activley running in catalyst CC and it works.. is ther something im missing?
