Need help ASAP

Is this for gaming by the tone there? FRAPS is the most commonly used for recording in games with it's own frame rate counter built into it. Cam Studio is another thought.
 
That was the one thing about FRAPS I didn't like. You can't get rid of the counter when recording clips while gaming. Now to see how Cam Studio works and see if that will run in Vista?
 
When I used it here for a "short period of time" in order to take screenshots when playing clips back the counter was always seen with no way of getting rid of it. To record video clips out of games plus with sound you have to buy the full retail version of any of the programs available to see what options they include.
 
Whaaattt? I can get 30 seconds maximum with awesome quality @ 60FPS! I can even record sound in the 30 seconds! And REALLY high quality sound! Like "in" the game sound!
 
Not with the free version. I tried it in Fear some months back since that was the only way to grab screenshots while reviewing the view clips. But those always saw the frame counter stuck in them. So that was out.
 
Hm, screenshots or clips? Screen shots = I get no counters...

Clips - Great sound and no counter nor lag... Quality stays same
 
When trying FRAPs out here without going to the full retail version all you saw was a frame counter stuck into everything. That's what I was referring to there. With the full version I imagine that would be a choice in the settings there.
 
The free versions I ran about a year or so back always saw the counter stuffed in your face when simply recording any video. That made it miserable seeing if I could post any screens in the screenshot contest at the time. Even now the F8 or nothing else seems to be able to capture screens in Fear here. I was able to grab one at a time by using a desktop screen capture program called Faststone which has worked out well.
 
Is that the full retail version or a newer free download? People probably complained at seeing the counter being constantly displayed on the downloadable version. You must have just downloaded a newer version out recently. The version I tried was seen in late 2006.

Eventually I'll something that will work out here. I was thinking about looking onto CamStudio again to see if that would work in Fear, Prey, HL2, EP1, eventually EP2+3 as a complete set not rushing at EP2 now, and some old games for possible upload at youtube.
