Need help booting a new build

Hiya guys,

I created a new set of Win XP boot disks and they seemed to have worked! Which means my 98, me and original xp boot disks were all faulty, all of a sudden! Well problem solved and I'm well chuffed, thanx for everyones help, it's really appreciated!
 
Hmmm well I thought I had but now it doesn't want to format and let me install the os, but I have started a thread in the appropriate place for it.

To get the most useful boot disk...

go to the Add-remove programs window

in windows 98 and look for the tab to

make a dos boot disk...

This disk allows you to access the CD...

Just be careful, because the letter of the

drive may be changed (for example, drive D

becomes E) , and when you go

to the drive where is your cd, type 'setup.exe'

There you go...
 
I have now got xp pro on my new build, I put my hdd in a different pc and got it sorted, thanx for all the help!
