Wait for H310 or B360 cheaper motherboard and get i5 8400

Or you i5 8400 now and down the RAM from 16GB to 8GB.

Why wait for the new h310 or b360? How much better are they for the price and how long the wait for it’s release?

Forgot to mention no need for Os or ssd or hd.

Also people were telling me to wait for the Volta video cards? Is it worth it?

Kinda wondering why the mention on i5-6600k how are they vs i5-8400 which seem to be the cpu everyone want at the moment.

H310 or B360 are lower end and should be cheaper than Z370. i guess they are around $60 - 90 similar to current H110/ B250
the problem with current 8th gen socket is their z370 are expensive compare to AMD. ($120 vs $70)

i5 8400 is 6-core.
i5-6600k is 2nd before with 4 core. I don't see the point getting old tech which are slower.

According to passmark, i3-8100 is at similar speed with non OC i5-6600k.
i5-8400 much faster than i5-6600k.
Everyone want i5-8400 because it is good value for money when compare to other.

don't care about Volta, it will be a long wait until they release budget video card for that.
