Need help building a new computer?

Hi, I'm building a PC at the moment and was wondering if you can tell me if these are good enough (only have about $1000 to $1600):

Is the PSU good enough, should I get a higher Watt one or will it just damage the computer?
Is this good enough, is there anything I should change or missing?, and will all these work together?
O BTW, I didn't compare the price yet, just trying to figure out the parts I need and if they work together.

Many of the links don't work but based on your descriptions I'd change the following parts:

Q6600 for a G0 one from ClubIT (The G0 stepping is generally better)
The PSU for something more like a Corsair HX520W if you can stretch that far.
The motherboard for a Gigabyte, Abit or Asus P35.

Otherwise it's a good build, but is that DVD drive a writer or reader?
 
The G0 stepping is more energy effecient and because of this it overclocks better. People have been able to get those chips to 3.6-4GHz, although even 3.4Ghz is good, but you'd need an aftermarket cooler, a Zalman CNPS-9500 or an Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro would be a good choice.

Are you good with your hands? Ever built a computer before? Can you look at something and figure out how to do it?

If not, then do NOT get the Antec 900 case. It is one PAIN to put together.

If you have experience with computers and don't mind some frustration, then go ahead and get it.

Really? Can you suggest another case for me then? I was thinking of getting the Antec 900 cause I heard good things about it.

But then again oscaryu1 has never actually built a system with this case, so he has no idea.

And if someone had to write a guide to use it, how simple can it be to use?
