If you are willing to go with an Advanced Micro Devices Dual-Core Processor you could get the price lower (you will also need to select a new motherboard if you decide to go this route).

The AMD Athlon 5000+ Brisbane (2.6 gigahertz) is currently $60 at NewEgg.

so right now im looking about as low as i can really go? i mean i dont wanna start droping performace any more then i have to to lower price. shoot, if i can increase it with staying the same or dropping it that would be great.

And then theres the entire AMD vs Intel debate. Everyone agrees about intel being better at high end but i hear mixed about intel being better for medium end computers like mine and amd being better for medium end.

Intel processors are better than AMD processors, but AMD are less expensive. Looking at the specifications of the Warhammer Online game you want to play I doubt that going to have bottlenecks with an Athlon 5000+ processor (from my limited educated guess). If you really want to stay with an Intel processor just wait and save more money.

I was looking over your choice of parts and also I wouldn't buy your selected hard drive. Take a look at this:

Seagate Barracuda Model ST3250310AS 250GB Serial ATA Hard Drive - $55

sounds good. so i should get an AMD over intel for my price range, or if i want to go intel, i would need to invest more money. about how much more are you thinking for the intel? what would be the one you would recommend, not going to the most top of the line, but the cheapest you would spend on a processor. cause i know that the CPU is very important, especially for war. Developers are saying that the CPU is more important then your video card atm. who knows, so depending on how much extra it is i may do it. im thinking if its only like 50 bucks more i should go for it. it would be better in the long run. what would you recommend?

thanks for all your help by the way. you really are sending me in the right direction i feel... really helping me finish all my last minute questions. i think im just about ready to order, i just need a little more tweaking to do.

any and all criticism is appreciated :)

I would go Intel for obvious performance reasons. Intel chips arent really that much more expensive then AMD. You can get a great one for $120 that will in no way bottleneck the system.
