need help burning cd

hello...I have never attempted to burn a music cd on to a blank...any help would be appreciated...I have windows media player, real one player, and yahoo jukebox installed in my computer..I have a dell dimension 4600 with a cd drive and a dvd drive...thanks for any help
 
As long as it is not DRM protected, then use Nero. It will do a copy of a non DRM protected cd.

If you are wanting to copy a DRM protected CD, then we can not help you, since it is against the rules of the forum.

Do some searches on the web and you will find tons of programs to do what you want.

Just type in, burn music cd, and you will find all you want.
 
hello paratwa...thanks for kwik response...I tried using the windows media program that I have...I was able to copy the 13 tracks of the cd into a playlist..but when I got to actually doing the burning...the process stopped after about 3% of copying 1st track...got an error message saying copying could not be completed...????????
 
I would check your burner. Did you try burning it again after it told you that? Like bringing the playlist up again and trying to burn it to another disc? Sometimes mine does that when I am in the middle of burning a disc, and I just put another disk in and restart the burning process and it works just fine. If that doesnt work, then something might be wrong with your burner.
