need help. buying a new desktop

i guess newegg doesnt ship to you? tigerdirect might have the same thing if not then cyberpowerpc will have it just enter the product name in the search.

yeah dont go with a dell... they just plain suck
 
I"ll recommend you to sulit.com site. .I bought My desktop on that site and I just bought it at a very worth price of my unit. . And it's negotiable. . :D
 
if you want a custom but don't want to build it yourself try ibuypower or cyberpowerpc those companies build very good computers for decent prices.

Actually, they're horrible compared to custom builds. They make it look great, but the hardware is horrible. Cheap CPUs and even cheaper graphics cards. I'd hate to see what the PSU was.
 
If you built it yourself you could still save a few $100... but overall its better than those ones you see at IBP or such.
 
eh, i rather spend a few extra hundred to get it built. I dont have alot of time on my hand. but thanx for telling me this is a good buy.

Dell doesn't suck. I got a great deal on an xps 630. 1100 for a q6660 4 gigs of crossair dominator ram, dual drives, and its a 650i mobo. Right now I have my q6660 running comfortably at 3.4 ghz on stock cooler temps never higher than high 40s on 100 % load.

XMS2 Dominator has a cas latency of 5, and 4GB of it is $66... the Q6600 is $200...
 
to ugrade ram on dell's website from 2 to 4gb is about $300 with the how cheap ram is today that is an absolute rip off, not to mention the dimension desktops use generic ram, mb, psu, and a mediocre processor not to mention everything in a dell is btx form factor. and they charge you an arm and a leg for it. its sad when some jerkoff from best buy tells people how awesome a dell, hp, or gateway is no matter how bad it is.
