Well i'm getting a new PC soon so i thought i'd have some fun overclocking it a bit, but i can't overclock it whatsoever. I'm new to it so maybe i'm doing it wrong or not changing some settings i should be :/

Here is what it's currently at:
CPU Host frequency: 100 (100min..200max)
DIMM Overvoltage is at Normal
AGP Overvoltage is at Normal
CPU Clock Ratio x15

It won't even let me overclock it to 101 :/ I wen't into temperatures in BIOS too and it's at 44 celcius, which doesn't seem too bad.

Can anyone help me? Can i simply not overclock it or do i need to change some of the other settings aswell as the frequency?

Processor is a Intel Pentium 4 1.8Ghz

Prebuilt = Overclocking Disabled.

You can always try to reset BIOS and see if it will un-disable the overclocking options. Also try updating your BIOS. Not all motherboard support overclocking.

That is another reason why I would never get a prebuilt PC, you have very little control over what parts you are getting. If you want a performance machine for gamine, you should hand pick your parts and put it together yourself. Building is where most of the fun is, well at least that is true for me, maybe I'm weird. :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:
