Need help choosing between computers.

I was looking for a new computer and decided to just buy one already built instead of building one myself. I just need a computer that would be fast and let me play some games. Not any serious gaming but source engine games like HL2 and CSS. If it played something like MW2 though, that would be nice. My budget is right at $600. Here's a couple I found that I wanted. They are iBuypower but I'm not buying directly from them.

#1 iBUYPOWER Gamer Power WA527D3 Desktop PC with AMD Athlon II X4 640 Processor, NVIDIA GT220 graphics Windows 7 Home Premium - $588.00

#2 iBUYPOWER Gamer Power 538D3 Athlon II X2 240(2.8GHz) 4GB DDR3 500GB NVIDIA GeForce GT 240 Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit - $569.99

#3 iBUYPOWER Gamer Power 554D3 Athlon II X4 640(3.0GHz) 4GB DDR3 1TB ATI Radeon HD 5570 Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit - $609.00

From benchmarks I've seen, the GT240 is better than the 5570, and both are a lot better than the GT220. If they all had the same CPU, I would go for the GT240, but should I get the 5570 just for the better CPU?

Can you post more detailed specifications on the systems? Power Supply, hard drive, motherboard specifications are information that would be helpful.

If you have a poor quality power supply, motherboard, or hard drive it is going to affect the performance of the whole system.

Please give us the specifications I requested so we can give you useful information.

Its really hard to compare, the spec's mentioned are not uniform across the board
ie. not all mention the hard drive, memory type or amount....

For pre-built, as long as they have a decent warranty, i'd say all those prices are decent - just ensure you're not going to get ripped off on shipping, having to pay for warranty, etc.

Full system specs would defiantly benefit the discussion

It's mainly between these two:

$588
Gamer Power 538D3
AMD Athlon II X2 240(2.8GHz)
4GB DDR3 1333
500GB SATA II
NVIDIA GeForce GT240 1GB
700W
Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit

and..

$610
Gamer Power 554D3
AMD Athlon II X4 640(3.0GHz)
4GB (2GB x 2) DDR3 1333
1TB SATA II
ATI Radeon HD 5570 1GB
480W
Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit

I don't really care about HDD space and they both come pre-built with a mouse and keyboard. Most of the other features are the same for each of them or I don't care about. Hope this helps, it doesn't seem to mention the motherboard but I'm not worried about future upgrade ability. And they both have a 1 year warranty.

DX11 doesn't bother me since I mean I don't really want to play newer games with it. I don't know how much DX11 the 5570 could handle though anyways.

It doesn't list the power supply specifications. If you really do not want to assemble your own system I would look into buying the quality custom parts yourself then paying someone to assemble the system for you. Many manufacturers cheap out on a poor quality power supply which will affect the life of your computer and system performance.

Do you know anyone who can assemble the system for you? If not you may want to get quotes from technicians around you for how much assembly would cost before purchasing the parts. This is what I would do in my opinion if you have little or no knowledge on how to assemble a desktop system.
