I was flipping through channels last night and came across this notebook that HSN was advertising. I'm not big on computer, but from what I know....it looks pretty good. I will mainly be using it for multimedia and a little gaming. Then the occasionly excel or word documents. I'm looking for something in the "Thin and Light" category. It comes loaded with lots of software already also. Any other recommendations would be great. Looking to stay around $1,200 - $1,500 range. Thanks.

Heres just a suggestion...

Im not a big fan of dells, but this inspiron had such a wide selection with everything i wanted for a great price. I just ordered one for college and cant wait.

It starts at about 800, but you can upgrade the ram to a gig, a 128 meg video card and wut not, and still only be hitting about 1100$. It also has an intel duo chip, which is great on efficiency.

I think they've got that at a local Circuit City for only $1399.
