Need help Computer Problems

So i have 2 computers and on my compaq i took it apart to clean all the dust out. took everything out and when i put it all back together everything came on except the monitor the light is just orange......NEED help. Any advice....
 
You need to check to see if your video card is seated properly and check the cable connection on the back. What kind of video card do you have?
 
Did you check the cable connection on the back of the pc? Might check the cable on the monitor also.
 
Since you have no video card, and you've presumably checked your cable connections, the next step would be to pull out your memory and clean the connectors with an eraser (like on a pencil) and then reseat them, making sure they are securely seated. Make sure that your 4-pin power connector is plugged in, some people forget. Let me know if this works.
 
Sometimes a buildup occurs on the connectors and needs to cleaned especially after pulling the sticks and reseating them, it very well may have just been a loose connection, but I always suggest cleaning the memory to ensure full connection and functionality.
