Greeting, new member here. I am wanting to buy a nettop computer and wanting your input. First of all, for those of you who are unsure what a nettop is, it is a small computer which is designed to hook up to a TV/big computer screen via HDMI connection. I will be using my 47" Vizio 1080P computer. (SV470xvt1a) I am trying to keep my purchase under 400 dollars (including shipping and taxes). I will primarily be using this nettop to watch netflix HD, espn 360, youtube, some 1080P content, and hooking it up to an external drive to assess all my music and videos.

Obviously to do what I want, I don't need a super computer, but want to buy one that will hopefully work for a long time.

That is about it. I know most of the nettops seem the same, but name brand and small changes could change your opinions of them. Any help/comments are appreciated and if you have any suggestions, please, let me know!! Thanks for reading.

i3 based system, h67 micro mobo, cx400 corsair psu, ssd, 4gb ram will form a good basis of a quiet, powerful machine for your purposes

The Asus Eee works fine for a netbook. At least i have one. I wanted for traveling and hooked up to a tv in living room. its a 40". works fine. I would also look for a recover disc which did get. For Profitability i would consider looking also at the volt size of the battery. Maybe 9v. I think mine was 3v. Maybe im wrong. im not at it. And it was a gift.
works well for what i use it for.
