Hey guys, I want to get a decent gaming computer for a good price and I have narrowed everything down to two desktops.

The SYX has a better processor but the iBUYPOWER has a better graphics card but i'm not sure if I want to deal with liquid cooling. does liquid cooling require maintenance? Anyways, I could use the help.

Thanks for the help.

As with all pre-built computers, you can always build a cheaper one, with a ati6950 which would be the same price as a nvidia 560 but faster

But besides that, I would go with the SYX. Better processor and you could always take out the card, sell it, and buy a better card.

Hmm, I was trying to build a computer before, but I just don't know enough about the parts to know what the best thing is for the price, and, I am guaranteed this will work well. What is more important for gaming, a better graphics card or a better processor? I would be able to over clock the AMD one because it is liquid cooled. Anybody know?

I'd definitely go with the iBUYPOWER if I were you. Six-core CPU with overclocking potential, decent GPU, 2TB storage, and water-cooled. The type of water-cooling kit on their requires very little to no maintenance. Look up the Corsair H60's maintenance requirements, it's the same type of water-cooling setup. Another plus about the iBUYPOWER, it's from Newegg :good:

Just to compare, the SYX:
- Has only 1TB storage
- Lesser performance GPU
- It's Intel 2600 cannot be overclocked. The 2600k is an awesome CPU because it's very powerful as well as having great overclocking potential, but the 2600(non-k)'s multiplier is locked, making it non-overclockable. The 2600 is still a faster CPU than the 1090t, but IMO the computer, overall, that the AMD comes in, is better. Also, like you said, you can overclock the AMD if need be.
- It's not from Newegg :P

So if you're sure you don't want to build you're own computer, I say the iBUYPOWER is a good way to go.

I'm gonna still argue that the SYX is still better. The i7 2600 gets better benchmarks than the 1090T, 6-cores or not. Still gonna be the better processor.

But I still would go with building your own. It's not as hard as you think. The hardest part is picking out the right parts, which we can help with.

actually for the i7 2600 he can still bump the fsb can't he, but the overclocking potential is less cuz normally you lower the multiplier and bump up the fsb.

Alright, I am now going to build a much better computer on iBuild Power.com but I have some more questions.
1. Which graphics card has greater performance?
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 Ti - 1GB or NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 - 2GB
2. Which motherboard would be better?
Gigabyte GA-870A-USB3 -- AMD 870 w/ 2x PCI-E 2.0 x16 or
ASUS M4A87T -- AMD 870

Besides that, I'm going to use the AMD Phenom™ II X6 1100T Black Edition Six-Core CPU and 8 gb or RAM and a 700 watt power supply.

ok, well i know you wanna buy, but look a couple threads over and i put together a nice setup that will most likely kill whatever they will sell you for the same price.
