Need help deciding which PSU to get...

I was planning on building this system
i7 920
gigabyte GA-EX58-UD5
CORSAIR DOMINATOR 6GB (3 x 2GB) DDR3 1600
BFG 9800 GTX+
1 sata HDD
2 DVD drives (IDE)
1 IDE HDD

also factor in that I would like to be able to use SLI in the future, as well as upgrade the RAM, and swap/add HDD's and/or DVD drives....Plus I plan on having several fans running inside...(I do not plan on using water cooling if that makes any difference)

I was thinking of maybe a 1000w psu? but I sort of feel that could be over kill maybe?...but anyways my real question is-

*Could you guys recommend/post any PSU's I should look into? and possibly Why you recommend that certain PSU...?

Thank you very much in advance everybody!!

thanks...

thanks, is there anyone else that could help me? I would like a definitive answer, not 'I think" because that makes me nervous lol....I used a PSU calculator and it said I would need about 668w, but I dont really trust them either?.....(I calculated it with SLI included and as if my cpu was oc'd to 4ghz with 1.4 v)....
should I get a Corsair 750w?...I would get a 1000w, but I was hoping not to spend much more than 200 on a psu....
any suggestion guys?

please, help ! :confused::confused:

get the 750 watt, assuming your only going to sli with the 9800 gtx's, you'll be fine, anything more, and i would suggest go with the 1kw unit

Thanks

Thanks, Yeah I plan on having the 9800 gtx's for a little while, but might upgrade eventually.....are there any good 1kw psu's for $200 or less ?

what about these:
Tuniq Ripper PSU-RIP1000W
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817611009&Tpk=1000w

or one of these:

Thanks all!

What about...??

What about the ones I listed in my last post before this one?....

I like the idea of having this sort of future proof- so I dont have to buy ANOTHER psu in the future if I want to upgrade....(I guess that means I should get a 1kw huh?.)

any good psus for under 200 or so..? (hopefully a 1k one maybe?)....

THank you guys I appreciate the advice....

That Tuniq Ripper is a great PSU, by all means, go for it.

Here's one of many reviews on it, check em out.

is it pretty compareable to the 1000w corsair? ....or at least would it be good enough for tri or quad sli in the future?
I see a difference of only about 20 on two of the 12v rails ?
...would that still be ok?...I think my main concern is being able to do quad sli in the future...?
(it should take care of anything else if it can handle that)....or is there a way that I can find out if it will be able to do quad sli- I searched around and couldnt find any info related to that psu and quad sli (not looking good, huh? lol)...

Thanks again!!

Probably not. 80A for 4 cards averages at 20A per card, without everything else. It would probably work, but i wouldn't recommend it. Come to think of it, quad SLI is a completely stupid idea unless you plan on playing a 25000000 x 45000000 max AA.

lol...
I actually am new to the whole sli idea, and would like to just be able to upgrade in the future and have the ability to use that technology (without having to change too much)....
