Need help deleting files

I need some help deleting some software files that I have decided not to use. I have already uninstalled from add, remove programs. I did a search to see if there were any remaining files and there were. When I tried to delete them I got the following message "cannot delete LimeWire: Access is denied. Make sure the disc is not full or write protected and that the file is not currently in use"

Any help in removing these files would be greatly appreciated.

uuuummm i already got that problem once and ya its hard, well if you got spyware/antivirus, see if those files (because of there persistance) might not be corrupted. you can also go in program files, even when u unistall limewire ur file in program file might stay, so u delete that. another thing that might help, those files might be start up files, s even though limewire is deleted, its probably still in the start up list (wierd to say) so go in start---run---type msconfig, and go in startup, uncheck limewire and the link between file and start up will probably make it possible to delete them. the last tip i gave im not 100% sure it will work.
