Hi guys, Im not exactly amazing with computers so if i can get some help here, it'd be sweet. I have a dell desktop, and a vizio 32" lcd tv. All im trying to do is be able to display whats on my computer on my tv because i recently got a sling box and dont like watching it on my monitor trying to get it on my tv. but anyways, i am using a vga to vga cable. i have it hooked in the vga port on my computer, and the vga port on my tv. the settings i have are rgb, hdmi 1 and 2 , component 1 and 2 and tv. i put it on rgb but nothing is displayed? if you could help me out here i would really appreciate it.

if you're using VGA with a 32' LCD (or any LCD for that matter) it's going to look awful, or not work at all. the highest resolution for a VGA is 800x600, and your TV's resolution is going to much higher. if you want a decent display you'll have to use a DVI -> DVI or a DVI -> HDMI cable. does your video card have a DVI input?
