Need help finding a machine.

Hey guys.

I recently discovered that my graphics card isn't going to cut it for a new MMORPG game coming out that I want to play. I was informed that because I am using a laptop I can't just upgrade the graphics card so I think i'm in the market for a new computer. However, I don't know computer manufacturers / computer hardware well or how to find the cheapest computer for my needs. Seeing as I'm just buying this computer for the game (and maybe other upcoming MMO's) I'd like to get the computer for as cheap as possible while still running the game decently. I'll post the recommended specs for the game:

Minimum System Specification

Operating system: Windows XP, Vista or 7
Processor: Dual Core 2.0 GHz or better
Memory: 2 GB
Hard disk space: 15.0 GB available
Video: Nvidia GeForce FX 5900, ATI/AMD Radeon X300, Intel GMA X4500 or better.
Sound: DirectX 8.1 compliant card
DirectX®: 9.0c, June 2010 update
Broadband internet connection (DSL, cable modem or other high speed connection)

Recommended System Specification

Operating system: Windows XP, Vista or 7
Processor: Core 2 Duo 2.2 GHz or better
Memory: 4 GB
Hard disk space: 15.0 GB available
Desktop Video: Nvidia GTS 250 or better
Notebook Video: Nvidia GTX 200M series or better
Sound: DirectX 8.1 compliant card
DirectX®: 9.0c, June 2010 update
Broadband internet connection (DSL, cable modem or other high speed connection)

Can anyone point me towards what I need? Is it possible to search by the minimum specs I need for a pre-made computer? Where should I be looking? Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

how much are you looking to spend?

I know this isn't a very helpful answer but as little as possible. As I said, I have a laptop for school so this machine would really just be for this game and similar games. I don't need anything too fancy.

That's why I came here, if you guys could just throw out some computers that would work well but not go over the top that'd be great. Or even throw out the price range that a computer that meets those specs should cost. I realize computers aren't cheap but at the same time I'm afraid of overspending by buying more than I really need.

are you ok yo build it yourself? you get more for your money and better quality parts? it's quite simple to do.

where are you based?

East coast of the USA. I have no experience in doing such a thing but it could be a fun learning experience, assuming it isn't too hard and I can follow a guide of some sort. But if there is a big risk of me messing up my stuff than i'd rather not.

We all had no experience at one point :D but its actually quite simple, although i really dont know how much you would save because what you want to build is pretty low-end, but we can see what we come up with. I'll look around for you
