My company need a new server, but we need it to be "CUSTOM BUILD",
since we have space and budget constraint. :o

Have you ever heard www.tccintl.com?

My friend said he saw this web site somewhere and maybe I can give it a try.

But does anybody know this company or have you ever purchase from them??
Do you know anyother web site that I can go?

I know that I can google and then there'll be many web sites availabe, but I want to know people's opinion.

I appreciate if anybody can help me. :)

Never heard of the company...
On that note, what type of server are you looking for. like a blade or what. Also what are you going to be using it for and what OS are you looking for.

We need a server to control employee's login account, printer, network, and a little bit storage.
We want to use 2 x Xeon 5120 cpu, 16GB ECC DDR2 registered, 2 to 4 300G 15K rpm (hard drives type at least SATA), Win Server 2003, 2U rackmount server (since it's smaller), 500W (at least), RAID 1 setting, ...
I don't know if I provide enough configuration, but we really need someone who can build this system...:)

Just a quick one.

I added the cd/dvd player (not a burner) because how else are you going to install the software. But I think I have everything you listed.

Also, I used a cheap 7600 video card because since it is a server and not a gaming system, you do not need a good video card.

Oops, forgot the scsi card for those 15k HDD's

"Edit"
I just realized you don't need that scsi controller, since the mother board has a SAS controller intergrated.
I think you need to reconsider those 15K Hdd's. Go with a 10K sata fujitsu and you can save a couple of grand off the price. The 15K's are really not needed.

Also, when someone custom builds you one of these, you have to consider the support you will get. If you buy one from HP or even Dell you will get all the support you need.
